Frequently asked questions
The KE 160 requires a 1,000 rpm PTO (as opposed to the standard 540 rpm). Ensure your tractor has a 1,000 rpm PTO output before purchasing.
The KE 160 is designed for grass and hay crops. Napier grass can be mowed but the height and density may require lower forward speed. For heavy napier cutting, a forage harvester is more appropriate.
The KE 160 has 4 rotating discs covering the full 1,600 mm cutting width, each fitted with replaceable cutting blades.
Yes. The cutting height is adjustable between 40–80 mm using skid plate settings, allowing you to optimise for different sward heights and field conditions.
